Our journey began in 2000 under the auspices of New Life Community Services, a not-for-profit social service agency founded by members of the Covenant Evangelical Free Church. New Life Community Services operates with a faith-based ethos, driven by a mission to express God’s love to the community.
In 2001, responding to a pressing need for childcare in Bukit Panjang, the first New Life Childcare centre was established. We started with 98 children, and were supported by strong connections with the community. Our focus was to provide high quality and affordable early childhood education to young families in the area.

In 2019, we initiated efforts to support students with developmental needs, integrating inclusive practices for 15% of our students. Our approach emphasised holistic education, focusing on nurturing self-identity and values beyond academic excellence.
In 2024, we mark a significant milestone by acquiring YWCA Preschool centres. This expansion allows us to provide quality, affordable, and inclusive education to even more children, now reaching families through 12 preschools islandwide.
New Life Preschool Management & Centre Leaders
The acquisition is followed by the adoption of New Life Preschool as our new name, and a rebranding exercise, realigning our internal team by harmoniously integrating the old with the new, and embodying our shared mission into a refreshed identity.
Meanwhile, our centres are undergoing renovations to create an even more conducive learning environment.
Looking ahead, our mission remains unwavering: to deliver quality, affordable, and inclusive education to all children. We strive to ignite curiosity, encourage exploration, and nurture a strong sense of self-identity in each child. By focusing on their unique strengths and fostering a love for learning in a warm, supportive environment, we aim to ensure every child feels valued. Guided by our vision—”Every child, a masterpiece, grows to impact their world positively”—we are committed to preparing our students for a future filled with possibilities.
